Grief Support Groups

All of our open grief support groups meet weekly year long. Must be 18 years or older to join.

Adult Grief

Our adult grief support groups provide a compassionate space for you to share your story, connect with others who understand, and learn ways to navigate life after loss. Led by experienced facilitators, these groups meet year-round at a low fee, allowing you to join at any stage of your grief.
 

Registration fee: $100 for the year. The fee covers your registration until the end of the calendar year, Sliding scale available

 


Virtual online via zoom: Wednesdays 11:00am-12:30pm

In person at Adventist Health Glendale: Thursdays 11:00am-12:00pm

Survivors of Suicide

Losing someone to suicide brings unique and often complicated layers of grief. This group provides a safe space for those who have lost a loved one due to suicide. It is a safe, understanding space where you can share openly, connect with others who have experienced similar loss, and find support without judgment. Led by trained facilitators, these low-fee groups meet year-round and welcome you at any point in your journey. 

 

Registration fee: $100 for the year. The fee covers your registration until the end of the calendar year, Sliding scale available.

Ambiguous Loss 

Grief is not just the physical death of a loved one. Grief is the loss of a relationship, loss of a job, moving, aging. Grief takes many forms, and you do not have to carry it alone. Our Ambiguous Loss Grief Support Group offers a compassionate space to process the many layers of loss that can come with life and change. Led by trained facilitators, these low-fee groups meet year-round and welcome you at any point in your journey.

This FREE Farsi-speaking support group offers a gentle, supportive space for you to process the communal grief, anger, helplessness, and heartbreak amid ongoing uncertainty.

 

You don’t have to carry it alone.

وقتی جنگ، خشونت و بی عدالتی بر سرزمین مادری سایه می‌اندازد، غم و اندوه می‌تواند همیشگی به نظر برسد. چه در حال سوگواری برای عزیزانتان باشید، چه در اندوه وطن، هویت، یا زندگی در میانِ بلاتکلیفی و ترس. این گروه حمایتیِ رایگانِ فارسی‌ زبان، سعی دارد فضایی آرام فراهم کند تا شما بتوانید خشم  درماندگی و دلشکستگی خود را ابراز کرده و التیام بیاب.د
